Monochrome is a trend that is not going away. I am still seeing it come through from so many of our brands. From pushchairs, changing bags and nursery themes there is lots of black and white being put together in a really creative way.

For Baby

Using black and white as a theme in a nursery is a great way of creating a really modern gender neutral room. There are so many bold prints and patterns available that it can be really fun.

The latest range from Snuz can be found on our online boutique and has traditional pink and blue colours with up to date patterns as well as this striking Geo Mono and Geo Mono Sprinkle print. The sheets come in a range of sizes including moses basket, which is also good for pram. The crib size is perfect for a Snuzpod and the cot sheets will fit both cot and cot bed.

There are so many beautiful sleeping bags but these all weather options from Mama Designs are one of my absolute favourites!

To create a modern nursery combine retro looking furniture such as this Kidsmill Fynn range. The Nordic style is perfect when combined with a black and white theme.

For Mummy

Complete your maternity style with a gorgeous Jem + Bea bag. The latest arrival from this amazing brand is the Edie Weekender with a graphic grid print. It’s soft and lightweight so brilliant for an everyday changing bag, especially if you have twins and and need lots of space to double up on everything. It is also brilliant from weekends away for either yours or baby’s clothes. Yet again Jem + Bea are proving that changing bags need not be boring!

For Your Journeys

The limited edition Bugaboo Atelier Cameleon3 is simply stunning and has given this iconic pushchair a modern makeover. It is a stone grey and black colour way with beautifully considered detailing like a leather trim around the hood. I love the use of texture to make the black seat liner and foot muff feel that much more luxurious. We have this on display in the store should you wish to come and view it.

I hope that some of these ideas have given you inspiration for you and your baby and help you to see how stylish and fun a monochrome theme can be.
