Warming up for Spring

In the Bleak Mid Winter

This week ‘the cold’ finally got me, my birthday passed with a cough and a sneeze and I have been wrapped up in jumpers and scarves sipping on Lemsip!
However, it has felt like Spring is coming, I have had appointments with couples whose babies are going to be born in the Spring, new products are arriving in the store and new orders are being made for next seasons clothing. Here’s a round up of all the excitement!

Oh the things I have seen…

A trip to the trade show Bubble at the weekend was an opportunity to catch up with the lovely ladies from Jem+ Bea, the luxury baby changing brand.  I can report that the new back pack is due to arrive this month and the delicious Jemima bag is going to be available in grey, which could make deciding which one to chose even more difficult!

Wild Cotton

A new organic cotton range from Little Green Sheep is now in store and will shortly be on the website. If you live locally take a stroll past as I have set up a window display. Lovely soft cotton bedding sets for moses basket, crib, cot and cot bed in two colour ways. The bear and bunny designs are particularly sweet on the sleep suits and sleeping bags and the best part is that 25p from every item sold goes to the conservation of our woodlands in the UK.

Bugaboo Bee5

I have been keeping this under my hat for a while but I can now tell you about the new Bugaboo Bee5. There will be plenty more to follow but be prepared for lots more opportunity to personalise your Bugaboo ride! It is available to pre-order with deliveries due in March.

Little Lambs

I really started to think about Spring when I topped up our stock of Isla and Wilbur sheets, the quirky designs on organic cotton have been really popular particularly in moses/pram size but we are looking forward to seeing them on single beds, particularly those that we sell from Kidsmill.

For Mummy and Baby

Finally, it was so great to pop along and say hello to the pregnant ladies at Julie Adam’s, pregnancy yoga session this week in Blackheath Village. If you are looking for an antenatal class then this is right at the top of my list. Julie’s calming voice and incredible knowledge is a great way to prepare for birth and given how many lovely ladies I met it is also a brilliant place to meet expectant Mums. http://www.yogaclasseswithjulie.co.uk
